Independence Day 2008!

This year for July 4th weekend we went down to Durhamtown Plantaion to ride our ATV's with Mom, Dad & Brandon. Friday 7/4 we went to Six Flags over Georgia, it was fun. We hit a ran storm on another ride & we had to ride in the rain, which kinda hurt. Brandon rode his first standing roller coaster & I got a shot of him- I think he liked it. The reason we wanted to come was to ride Superman the ride. Where you ride hanging in the seat with your stomach face down, talk about a weird feeling.

Hot Air Balloon Ride

Nov. 18th,2007

For my 25th Birthday Chris got us a ride on a Hot Air Balloon. It was so much fun - something I've always wanted to do since I was little.

Cruisin Again

Nov. 4-11, 2007

This year with the Lake Wylie T-Bones Group we went crusin' again abord the Carnival Legend. We had a Day at Sea at first, then went to Grand Cayman, Cozumel, Belize, Isla Roatan and ended with a Day at Sea.

The Bahamas

Adrian and Charlotte are now married! They had their wedding in The Grand Bahamas at the Westin Resort. We flew in Thur. afternoon and hung out w/ everyone by the pool most of the days. At night went out to dinner w/ the friends and family and even hit the dance floor w/ Laura & Brian. Sat. Chris & I got a “couples” massage that was heavenly at the spa and then prepared for the wedding. They look so great together!

Independence Day!

We were invited out on the boat w/ Bobbie and “Tater” and some friends and family. Enjoyed us some drinks while watching the fireworks.

July 4th Party

Out on the lake on a beautiful day, not to hot, what more could you ask for…hum…friends! Joined Alexis and Brendan at Bobbie and “ Tater’s ” for a cookout and some fun in the sun. We decided to go swimming but Chris wanted to enter the lake…a bit differently then the rest of us. Chris and I took a ride on their Jet Ski and then Chris went tubing.

No Hair For My Hairbrush

Now you see it…..Now you don’t. I finally got sick of all that hair so I headed up to Toni & Guy and lost about 12” worth. Had to take a picture b/c I won’t be able to style it and have it look that good again!

Memorial Day Weekend

Oh Boy- Thanks to Adrian we were able to still go camping for Memorial Day Weekend. Instead of heading up to WV we camped at Sesquicentennial State Park (the only thing still open but hey we'll take it). This thing is a PAIN to get into a back-in campsite surrounded by trees but after about a 1 1/2 we finally were set up and ready to enjoy our weekend. We drove up to CAW on Sat and did some riding then headed down to set up the camper. Drove back up on Sun & did some more riding at CAW and then headed home on Monday. We had fun and didn't have to drive to far.

On No!

Our poor baby. Don't worry Chris was okay even though he was sandwich between 2 trucks. Long story short he was on his way to work & an Explorer just didn't stop in time. Man- we had plans to tow the new camper w/ the new truck up to WV to do some ATV riding again at Hatfield McCoy's - Guess that's out for Memorial Day Weekend. :(

Rainbow

I took this after a bad thunderstorm, as the winds were blowing the clouds by and the flag all around I saw the rainbow (and since I’m told I don’t use my camera enough) I thought it was a great shot and wanted to proudly display it.

Riding Time at CAW

Ok well now that mom and dad have their own toys we decided to go down to CAW and take advantage of our passes since we can ride before it’s open. With the rain you can see that the crossing isn't high at all – Now Chris that’s not safe at all! Once we got across dad decided to take a run up and down the blue hill…you go for it I take that on another day!

Happy New Year's

So even though Chris was a little under the weather we were still able to attend Bobbie and Tater’s New Year’s Party at their house on the lake. Heather and Alexis were of course there and so we had to take a picture. After the count down we enjoyed some fireworks and then headed home.

Christmas 2006

Christmas 2006 and I was the host. I prepared the turkey and I did it the old fashioned way - basting that turkey every 30 minutes and boy did it taste good in the end – if I do say so myself. We started off the morning with Chris and I unwrapping of gifts in our stockings. Mom and Dad showed up for our traditional breakfast and hot cocoa then we exchanged gifts between the four of us. Chris got his Star Wars Collection on dvd now and can stop trying to take Brandon’s. That afternoon Grandpa and Grandma, Curt, Bruce, Greg, Jean and Matthew showed up for Christmas lunch and to open gifts.

Saturday Christmas w/ Grammy

Saturday we celebrated Christmas w/ Grammy, Curtis and all. Sherry, Thomas, Ashley and Russell drove up from Alabama. Debbie and Dylan flew in from California. Mom, Dad, Brandon, Chris and I drove up from Rock Hill. Of course we all got great gifts and had lots of fun. Grammy got her special gift from her girls and me - a brand new computer, monitor and printer and boy was she surprised! Of course when we are all together we have to take the family photo.

Christmas w/ the Myers

Well we ended Christmas day as well as are Christmas Saturday w/ the Myers. Zeus came over to help open gifts on Christmas. While Saturday Charlotte and Adrian brought over their new addition Zoey (also a great dane) who enjoy naps in everyone's lap-Chris just happen to be the 1st. Of course the kids enjoyed opening and playing w/ their gifts but we finally got them to pose together for a picture.

Graduated

Well I’m half way there…I now have my Associate’s in Accounting (that’s me and Val). Karen (pictured w/ boyfriend Patrick) got her Bachelor’s in Forensics with a minor in Graphical Design. Laura (pictured to the bottom left w/ her husband Brian and kids Allison and Myles) has her Associate’s in Nursing.

Oh...Isn't She Loverly

Oh Yeah! Check out our new tv…61” of beautiful HD quality and of course my Carolina Panther, John Kasey is pictured as he is about to kick a field goal to score some points for our team this year.

Cruising Again

Well we are off cruising again and went with some friends. Lake Wylie got a group together so we tagged along with Alexis, Bobbie and Tater Tot onto a Carnival Cruise boat called the Celebration. We left from Jacksonville, FL on Sat. Nov 4th. We started with a day at sea, then stopped at Key West and then continued to Nassau Bahamas and finished up with a recovery day at sea on the way back home. We had fun but it’s back to the reality. Unfortunately these are the only pictures I was able to recover due to problems with my 35mm.
